Today, people of this world do not know what tomorrow's world will be like, how the economy will change, and how many people will fall behind? Who will take control of the economic lifeline?... Lord, mankind has never walked along these paths, while some have looked towards G-20 to be the pioneer and the new President to be the guide. Yet, we truly believe that only the Lord is the "pioneer" and the "guide". Therefore, in one heart, we pray for the Lord to send out His command, and call us to pray for the new financial system.
On 22 March 2009, during the early morning prayer, the Lord has indeed sent out His command calling us to start a global prayer movement for the new financial system. This prayer movement will be a 24-hour, 100-day prayer event, commencing on May 1. We are truly thankful for the Lord's wonderful provision. As from mid-April, our intercessor team is on a global visit to more than ten countries, wholeheartedly promoting this vision. With this, we are also able to encourage these countries to take part in the global prayer movement. We pray that in the coming months, believers in all parts of the world will experience the truth of the Lord in peaceful days. Being intercessors, we do not wish believers to call only to the Lord in their afflictions. Indeed, in all things we are to pray, so as to build up a deeper relationship with the Lord.
As we look at the past, we have offered different prayers before the Lord. We pray that the Lord will answer one of our petitions in the first "Do-This" Million-Hour All Nations Prayer Movement prayer handbook - "Let prayer and worship be the air we breathe". We hope that brothers and sisters will pray not only in times of crisis, but will understand that as children, we are to speak to our Father in all things, for this is what we should do. May brothers and sisters, in everything, through prayers, greatly experience the steadfastness and peace that come from the Lord's presence. May the Lord bless everyone.
